Talent Connect Show: Get the Details and Learn How You Can Register Today
We recently shared the good news that Talent Connect, LinkedIn’s premier event for global talent leaders and practitioners, is back this year the week of October 2 and that filmmaker Spike Lee will be joining us as a keynote speaker.
But the good news doesn’t stop there: We’re also excited to announce that registration is open for Talent Connect Show, a two-day global broadcast happening the same week and featuring exclusive online content and peeks behind the curtain of the in-person event in New York City.
So what can participants of Talent Connect Show expect? Not only will you be able to watch Spike’s fireside chat with Leah Smart, host of the podcast In the Arena, from the comfort of your home or office, but you’ll also be able to tune in to hear a keynote by New Zealand’s former prime minister Jacinda Ardern; a mainstage address by LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky; and a joint session by LinkedIn vice president of talent Jennifer Shappley and vice president of product Hari Srinivasan.
The broadcast will feature in-studio interviews, success stories, and idea exchange panels revolving around four themes spanning the talent lifecycle:
Hiring and attracting top candidates Driving career development for all workers, no matter their title or career stage Adopting a skills-first approach to hiring and learning and development Embracing innovation and preparing for the future of HR
There will be numerous segments addressing these themes where you’ll come away with actionable tips and best practices from industry leaders and experts, including:
Donna Morris, executive vice president and chief people officer at Walmart Maud Alvarez-Pereyre, chief people and transformation officer at LVMH Ashwani Prashara, chief human resources officer, hydrocarbons, at Reliance Industries Limited Roz Francuz-Harris, vice president of talent acquisition at Zillow Lars Schmidt, founder of Amplify Academy
And no matter where you are in the world, we’ve got you covered. Participants can register for regional broadcasts of Talent Connect Show, including the Americas, Asia Pacific, and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). The Americas and APAC shows will be airing from the Javits Center in New York City, while the EMEA show will be coming to you from the LinkedIn Studio in Dublin, Ireland. Be sure to check out the Talent Connect Show website to learn more about each region’s dates, times, and lineups.
Stay tuned here on the blog for more details about the online broadcast and save your spot by registering today. We also want to hear your story — if you register before August 30, you’ll have the option of sharing a short video clip about how you and your team are “changing work today.” We’ll be highlighting some of the submissions during the broadcast in October. Find out here how you can share your story at the Talent Connect Show.
