According to a recent article in Fortune, it has fallen to middle managers to balance everyone’s needs and make sure that hybrid work is running as smoothly as possible.
“The pressure,” reports Fortune, “to make hybrid work work for everyone is mounting in a job that was already stressful even before the pandemic. Middle managers may be likely to agree with [Yelp CEO Jeremy] Stoppelman that hybrid work is hell, or at least a helluva lot of work.”
